What if I’m not a good cook?
We provide recipe suggestions for seasonally based meals that cooks of all levels can make and share. Contact us if you'd like some!
Do I have to create a team?
No, you can fundraise individually. See the instructions above, Step #1-4.
Do I have to host a dinner at my home?
No, you can decide what format makes you most comfortable (and of course follow current County and State health guidelines for gatherings). It might be a picnic on the beach, a virtual happy hour with hors d’oeuvres, or you might drop off baked goods for your besties. Any and all creative ways of engaging with the power of food and local goods counts!
Can I fundraise without hosting a dinner?
Of course! The dinner is a way to celebrate your fundraising and bring attention to the diverse food cultures of the Central Coast. Any way you want to thank your team members and donors works – it doesn’t have to literally be with food.
Are there prizes?
Yes! Top fundraisers will win prizes from local merchants. Stay tuned for more information. (Steering committee members not eligible to win prizes).
