The Food Policy work group is comprised of a diverse collection of stakeholders from the public and private sectors. SLO County CalFresh Alliance
This alliance of agencies and community-based organizations formed in May 2016 to increase CalFresh participation rates. Represented groups include SLO County DSS, Public Health, Catholic Charities, Cal Poly, CAPSLO, Food Bank, First 5, and the County Office of Education. Email Andrea Keisler for more information. |
EBT at Farmers' Markets
This work group aims to increase participation at farmers' markets that accept EBT to promote equitable access to healthy food options and support. Participants include North County Farmers Market Association, UCCE, Cambria Farmers Market, SLO Food Bank, Department of Social Services, Women Infants and Children (WIC), and Paso Country Farm & Craft Market.
